Onboarding Walkthrough
After signing up, you'll go through a quick onboarding to set up your first project.
Step 1: Create Your First Project
A project represents one product or business you want to find leads for.
Enter:
- Product name — What's it called?
- Description — What does it do? What problem does it solve?
- Target audience — Who is your ideal customer?

Step 2: Add Keywords
Keywords are the phrases StackLead looks for across platforms.
Think about:
- What would someone search for if they needed your product?
- What problems does your product solve?
- What are your competitors called?
Good keyword examples:
- "looking for a CRM"
- "best project management tool"
- "alternative to Notion"
- "need help with social media scheduling"
StackLead's AI can also suggest keywords based on your product description. Click "Generate Keywords" to try it.

Step 3: Select Platforms
Choose where you want to find leads:
- Reddit — Great for niche communities and detailed discussions
- Hacker News — Perfect for dev tools, SaaS, and tech products
- Twitter/X — Real-time conversations and complaints
- Indie Hackers — Founders helping founders
Start with 1-2 platforms and expand as you get comfortable.

Step 4: Configure Subreddits (Reddit only)
If you selected Reddit, you can specify which subreddits to monitor.
Popular subreddits for finding leads:
- r/Entrepreneur
- r/SaaS
- r/startups
- r/smallbusiness
- r/Blogging
- r/webdev
You can also let StackLead suggest relevant subreddits based on your product.
