AI Reply Drafts
Every lead comes with an AI-generated reply draft that you can copy, edit, and post.
What Makes a Good AI Draft
StackLead's AI writes replies that:
- Sound human — No corporate speak or salesy garbage
- Add value first — Helpful advice before any pitch
- Match the platform tone — Reddit casual vs HN technical
- Mention your product naturally — Not a hard sell
Viewing the Draft
Click on any lead to expand it. You'll see:
- Why this lead scored X — The AI's reasoning
- Suggested Reply — The draft you can use

Editing the Draft
The draft is a starting point, not a final answer.
Click into the draft to edit it. Add your own personality. Include specific details about your product. Make it yours.
Editing tips:
- Add a personal anecdote if relevant
- Reference something specific from their post
- Keep it concise — nobody reads walls of text
- Remove anything that sounds too salesy
Copying and Posting
- Click "Copy" to copy the draft to your clipboard
- Click "Open" to go to the original post
- Paste the reply and customize the final 10%
- Submit your reply
Regenerating a Draft
Don't like the draft? Click "Regenerate" to get a new version.
The AI will take a different approach while keeping the same context.

Why Edit Instead of Copy-Paste?
Copy-pasting the same style of reply across many threads can:
- Get you flagged as spam
- Feel generic to readers
- Miss opportunities to connect
Always add something unique:
- Your personal experience
- A specific detail from their post
- A question to continue the conversation
Draft Quality Factors
The AI works better when:
- Your product description is detailed — More context = better drafts
- The lead's post is specific — Vague posts = vague drafts
- The intent score is high — Clearer buying signals = more targeted drafts
Troubleshooting Drafts
Draft too generic? Your product description might need more detail. Go to Projects → Edit and add more context.
Draft too salesy? Edit it down. Remove the hard pitch and focus on being helpful first.
Draft doesn't match the platform tone? Regenerate, or manually adjust the formality level.
